1. Acceptance of Terms

• Monitoring services
• Security consulting and risk management

3. Service Agreement

All services are provided subject to a written agreement between the Company and the client. The specific terms of each installation or service engagement will be detailed in individual contracts or service agreements.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. Generally:

• Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
• Deposits may be required before work commences
• Final payment is due upon completion and acceptance of work
• Late payments may incur additional charges

5. Installation and Access

Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to premises for installation, maintenance, and servicing of security systems. The Company is not liable for delays caused by lack of access or unsafe working conditions.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

We provide warranties on our workmanship and installed equipment as follows:

• All installation work is guaranteed for a period specified in your service agreement
• Equipment is covered by manufacturer warranties
• Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, or acts of nature
• Annual maintenance contracts are recommended to maintain warranty validity

7. Maintenance and Support

Regular maintenance is essential for optimal system performance. We offer maintenance contracts and support services. Failure to maintain systems may void warranties and affect system reliability.

8. System Monitoring

For monitored systems, separate monitoring agreements apply. While we strive for 24/7 monitoring reliability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Clients are responsible for maintaining proper system operation and communication links.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Company's liability is limited as follows:

• We are not liable for losses due to system failure, false alarms, or criminal acts
• Security systems are deterrents and cannot guarantee prevention of all incidents
• Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the service contract
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages

10. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about security requirements
• Operating systems according to provided instructions
• Promptly reporting system faults or concerns
• Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their premises
• Complying with all applicable laws regarding surveillance and data protection

11. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

Clients using video surveillance or other data-collecting security systems must comply with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Clients are responsible for registering with the ICO where required and ensuring lawful processing of personal data captured by their systems.

12. Intellectual Property

All system designs, configurations, and documentation remain the intellectual property of RJ Pro-Vue Ltd. Clients receive a license to use installed systems but may not replicate or redistribute our designs without written permission.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate ongoing service agreements with written notice as specified in the service contract. Termination does not affect payment obligations for services already rendered.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
